The 650695-R D4+ Home Plus UltraViolet Water Disinfection System by Viqua is a UV sensor upgrade to the D4 UV system. The UV sterilization process exposes microorganisms in the water to UV light which disables their DNA, rendering them unable to reproduce further. The end result is water with significantly reduced contaminants such as Cryptosporidium, E. Coli, and Giardia. This system provides a recommended flow rate of 12 gallons per minute (45 lpm) and includes other features like stainless steel chamber material construction, lamp replacement reminder, and LED monitor display.
