Replacing your filter housing o-ring ensures that you can continue to enjoy a leak-free seal. As a general rule of thumb, it is wise to replace your existing o-ring after two filter replacements.
Note: Never use a housing wrench to attach your system as overtightening the filter housing has the potential to crack o-rings and lead to an imperfect seal.
Helpful Hint: Use O-Ring Lubricant on the outside of your housing threads to assist in replacing the filter at your next filter change.
