The Harmsco HAC-10-W is a 9.75 x 2.75-inch activated carbon water filter cartridge designed for reduction of silt, sediment, dirt, rust, chlorine taste and odor in standard 10-inch filter housings. Engineered from FDA approved materials, this filter cartridge utilizes a composite media of 100% coconut carbon and polyolefin fibers thermally bonded and wet molded against bypass and channeling. This combination allows dual depth filtration for high chlorine reduction, high dirt holding capacity, and contaminant reduction down to 5 micron. Suitable for use in myriad applications including commercial and industrial drinking water, point-of-entry residential filtration, and even marine/aquatic filtration. Filter should be replaced every 5,000 gallons for chlorine reduction and every 500 gallons if used for organic chemical reduction. Order today!
