The S1 cartridges are manufactured from a pleated cellulose media and are designed for general water filtration purposes. The Pentek-S1 cartridges are economically priced and highly effective at reducing sediment particles down to 20 microns in size making them an ideal sediment filter for a variety of applications. The Pentek Whole House Filter Replacement Cartridge fits any standard housing that uses 9-3/4-inch x 2-1/2-inch replacement filter cartridges. The filter uses pleated fabric to remove contaminants for up to 6 months. Drop-in cartridge makes filter change fast and easy. Pleated design maximizes dirt-holding capacity.
