The Omnipure PuROTwist TQ56-50FC RO membrane produces healthier and better-tasting drinking water and cooking water. The RO membrane reduces a high percentage of dissolved inorganics. Use the PuROTwist TQ56-50FC membrane with a non-chlorinated water supply. The PuROTwist TQ56-50FC can be used with a chlorinated water supply as long as there is a prefilter that filters chlorine. Most RO systems including the PuROTwist RO Systems have a prefilter that filters chlorine. The PuROTwist TQ56-50FC reverse osmosis membrane is an encapsulated membrane. The RO membrane housing and the flow control are included with the membrane. There is no need to buy the RO membrane housing or flow control separately. The PuROTwist TQ56-50FC membrane reduces barium, cadmium, chromium III & VI, copper, fluoride, lead, mercury, nitrate, nitrite, radium, selenium, and TDS.
