Quick connect fittings are also known as TiteGrip fittings, Mur-lock fittings, John Guest fittings, and JG push-in fittings. Quick-connect fittings do not require special tools for installation and are designed to create a firm grip and tight seal on different types of tubing. To ensure a long term connection, it is best to use a release tool to affix the collet to the tubing properly.
